LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A Lubbock grand jury has indicted a man in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in late March.
28-year-old Daniel King is charged with failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
In the early morning hours of March 20, officers responded to reports of a possible dead body near 98th and Elgin Ave.
51-year-old Shawn Bowen was found dead at the scene.
King was arrested after investigators determine Bowen’s injuries were the result of being struck by a vehicle.
King remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
