Potbelly Sandwich Works plans to open its new location in Hutto at the end of this month.
The gist
The fast-casual restaurant, which will be located next to Hooky Entertainment, offers a variety of sub sandwiches, including prime rib steak, chicken salad, meatball and pork barbecue options.
While the restaurant will open this month, the business plans to host a grand opening event May 16, 10 a.m.-noon. The first 50 guests in line will receive free Potbelly for a year. Customers can expect a lively celebration with a Plinko game for opportunities to win exclusive Potbelly merchandise and prizes.
Potbelly in Hutto is owned and operated by franchise partners Jignesh Patel and Nitin Patel, who recently opened a Potbelly shop in nearby Georgetown.

The shop is opening up within Townwest Commons, which has a seen a number of new businesses move to the shopping center. Other businesses to open up in the center include Bites & Basil and Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy’s. Plans are also in the works for a new Petco and Dollar Tree.
