LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Texas Department of Public Safety said it was involved in a chase on Tuesday evening in Lubbock city limits.
DPS said troopers stopped a car at Canyon Dr./Cesar E. Chavez Dr. and N. Loop 289 around 8:30 p.m.
The person driving then drove off from the scene, starting the chase.
Troopers were able to stop the car in the area of N. Ave. S and Harvard St. 21-year-old Anthony Carlos De Le Cerda was arrested for evading with a vehicle. A female passenger was released from the scene. No injuries were reported.
