Homeland Security secretary visits El Paso, border area

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin was in El Paso for part of his visit to the southern border last week.

Photos on his social media accounts showed the El Paso landscape.

“I got to meet with the men and women of (Customs and Border Protection), who protect our homeland,” he posted.

“Thanks to these patriots and to President Trump, we have the most secure border in American history,” Mullin wrote.

He did not give details on how long he stayed in El Paso or where else he went.
