FORT WORTH – Lidio Guerrero, 62, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. Funeral Mass: 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2026, at St. Patrick Cathedral. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Mount Olivet Chapel. Lidio was born on August 3, 1963, in La Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, and made his home in Fort Worth, Texas, beginning in 1991. He was married to his beloved wife, Hilda Paniagua Treviño, since 1991, sharing a lifetime of love, dedication, and partnership. For many years, Lidio worked in concrete, dedicating himself to providing for his family. He came to the United States with the dream of building a better future for those he loved, and through hard work and determination, he made that dream a reality. Lidio found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved soccer and baseball, proudly supporting Santos Laguna and the Texas Rangers. He enjoyed dancing and could often be found playing his favorite music loudly while going about his day, bringing energy and life into every space he entered. Above all, Lidio was a man who put his family first. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and never hesitated to show his love in countless ways. His presence, strength, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a lasting message for his family: “Stay united as a family.” Lidio is survived by his wife, Hilda Paniagua Treviño (51); his mother, Martina Montoya; and his five children, Julio Guerrero (34), Lidia Guerrero (29), Luis Guerrero (25), Karla Guerrero (23), and Santiago Guerrero (12).
