LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – UMC Children’s Hospital and KCBD hosted the 28th annual Children’s Miracle Network Administrative Professionals Day luncheon at Texas Roadhouse on Wednesday.
The event began with a pep rally featuring five teams: red, blue, purple, yellow and green. Each team included a miracle kid and participated in activities throughout the day.
Teams sold raffle tickets and T-shirts at tables, completed a scavenger hunt and danced during the event. Around 400 people attended.
All proceeds raised stay local to support children across West Texas and eastern New Mexico. The donations help provide specialized pediatric services, expert care and life-saving equipment for children and families.
