Don’t siesta, check out one of the many Cinco de Mayo fiestas being held in Dallas-Fort Worth. Even though the well-known Dallas Cinco de Mayo parade in Oak Cliff has been canceled this year due to funding, there are still plenty of events planned. 

Here is a roundup of 10 Cinco de Mayo events happening across North Texas.

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History will collaborate with the National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame, the Cattle Raisers Museum and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art to host a free event that celebrates Mexican American art and culture. It will be a day full of attractions, activities, food trucks, vendors, mariachis, fashion shows, folkloric dance performances, plus more.

FIESTA DE MAYO SALSA PARTY AT TEXAS LIVE!

DALLAS MARGARITA FESTIVAL 

The Village Dallas will be hosting the Dallas Margarita Festival. The event will bring together some of the city’s top cocktail creators and attendees will get to sample and vote on the best margarita in the city. Each ticket will allow guests to receive 10 margarita pours.

There will also be a live mariachi band, Ballet Folklórico performances, drink specials, and activities for the whole family happening throughout the day.

2026 CINCO CELEBRATION AT TRADERS VILLAGE

An all-day celebration full of dancing and traditional Mexican food, plus festivities for the whole family. There will also be hundreds of vendors to shop from at the open-air market and rides. Sol de la Kumbia and Javier Aguilar y su Mariachi Pura Sangre will perform cumbia and mariachi music live.

CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA AT THE STATLER

The Statler Hotel will be hosting an all-day fiesta where attendees will receive a bar crawl passport to explore the three bars located inside the hotel.
