LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Fire Rescue is on the scene of a house fire in central Lubbock.
According to a post by LFR, a man was yelling that his house was on fire to his neighbor. LFR and Lubbock police responded to the scene.
When firefighters arrived, they found one person with minor burns and they were taken to UMC. The fire was out before they arrived, though.
LFR said the LFR Fire Marshal’s Office called for the LPD bomb squad for more evaluation. Nearby houses were also evacuated at that time.
The bomb squad went inside the house and found nothing of danger to the public. The fire marshal’s office will continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
