AUSTIN, TX (April 23, 2026) – On Saturday, a disastrous hit-and-run crash on Robert T Martinez Jr Street and east Cesar Chavez Street injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:37 p.m. on Robert T Martinez Jr Street and East Cesar Chavez Street.
According to the Austin Police Department’s Highway Enforcement Investigations Unit, a vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, officers said that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.
