EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Water is continuing mitigation work on a potential risk of a dam breach at Cement Lake.
The utility company will provide an update on Thursday, April 23, regarding the work. KTSM 9 News will be live-streaming the press conference.
As KTSM previously reported, crews began working to reduce pressure on the dam to “prevent overflow from impacting the nearby roadways, including Paisano and Doniphan Drives,” according to EP Water on Wednesday, April 22.
