The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is celebrating Earth Day with a full day of free activities during its annual “Neighbors in Nature” event.

The event takes place on Friday, April 24, 2026, and includes free admission to the garden for all guests.

Organizers say the celebration is designed to help visitors connect with nature through hands-on experiences, educational programming, and family-friendly fun.

Activities throughout the day include yoga sessions, storytime for kids, guided forest therapy walks, and informational booths featuring local environmental organizations.

Guests can also attend an educational film screening, hear from author Jill Mays about sensory connections to nature, and shop at a mini native plant sale.

The event runs throughout the day, with scheduled programming beginning in the morning and continuing into the afternoon.

Organizers say the event is open to all ages and offers something for everyone, from families with young children to experienced gardeners.

While admission to the garden is free for the event, some attractions, including “Butterflies in the Garden,” require a separate ticket.
