Stars of the Taylor Sheridan universe recently took on a distinctly Fort Worth challenge to do something good for cancer patients.
Taylor Handley, from the Mayor of Kingstown, Elle Chapman in The Madison, along with music superstar Nick Carter and NFL legend Colt McCoy, were among the celebrities and personalities who rode into the arena on April 11th for the 2026 National Cutting Horse Association Celebrity Cutting event at Will Rogers Memorial Center.
The celebrities saddled up on highly skilled and athletic horses to work together to separate and hold a steer or cow away from a herd of cattle. Judges watched and scored as they separated as many cows as they could in 2 1/2 minutes.
The celebrity event raised awareness and support for UT Southwestern in Fort Worth. The medical center is building a new, state-of-the-art radiation oncology facility projected to open in 2028.
