SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A former San Antonio firefighter is among five suspects facing charges after an undercover operation in Bexar County.
Sheriff Javier Salazar says Joseph Littlefield, 34, was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor. Littlefield is no longer employed with Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 2, and Salazar says he was apprehended after explicit messages and phone calls were made with a person who he thought was a teenage girl.
Investigators say Littlefield had planned on meeting the minor at a hotel, but he did not show up. Nonetheless, BCSO decided to make the arrest anyway given that the contact Littlefield was communicating with was actually an undercover deputy.
Salazar says Charles Richard Davis, 42, came from Houston to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Like Davis, Lorin Gisseman of Comal County was arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor after he showed up with elderly relative to meet who he thought was a minor.
Salazar says two other men were arrested and charged with online solicitation of a prostitute.
