SAFD: Major fire reported involving multiple 18-wheelers on northeast side

Fire officials said crews responded to reports of multiple 18-wheelers “full of cardboard” that caught fire Wednesday morning.

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio firefighters are responding to an active fire on the city’s northeast side, officials said.

According to SAFD, crews responded to reports of multiple 18-wheelers “full of cardboard” that caught fire off the 7800 block of Webbles Drive.

A KENS 5 crew is at the scene of the fire. Fire officials said they will provide more information shortly.
