It’s pronounced POO-ket, by the way.

South Lubbock will soon get a new Thai food option. Phuket Thai Food, which currently serves at the phenomenal Wolfforth Farmer’s Market, will open a brick-and-mortar location soon.

Where Will Phucekt Thai Be Located in Lubbock?

According to a post in LBK Foodies, Phucket Thai will be located at 130th & University. That area has recently seen massive growth (and a new Taco Villa!), so it seems like a wise choice of location to me. Phucket Thai is currently serving at Wolfforth Farmers market and will do some upcoming pop-up events.

What Type Of Food Does Phucket Thai Serve?

The post specifically mentions Pad Thai with protein choices, mango sticky rice, and Thai iced tea (this is likely their core menu for the Farmer’s Market). However, I did see a photo of a very crisp and delectable looking papya salad, yum!

Other traditional Thai dishes they could have on their future menu would be curries, spicy seafood soups, noodle dishes, and more.

Other Lubbock Thai Options

Can’t wait for the Farmer’s Market? Here are some other Thai places to try:

Thai Pattaya (4809 34th)

Thai Thai (5018 50th)

Bangkok Thai (4624 34th)

Mam’s Thai Cuisine (6309 66th Suite 950)

Thai Pepper (3702 20th)

Thai Kitchen (2302 Texas Ave)

Choochai Thai Cuisine (2330 19th)

A Southeast Lubbock Thai option will be great for folks who live in that area who are looking for Thai food- one of the most delicious in my opinion. Best of luck to Phucket Thai as they make a big step forward.
