EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A rising Texas stand-up comedian brought his high-energy act to the Borderland this week, as Javi Bailon took the stage Thursday night as part of a broader regional tour.

Bailon, originally from El Paso and raised in Austin, has been gaining traction across the Southwest comedy circuit. He’s been building a following through live performances that emphasize improvisation, quick crowd interaction and personal storytelling. His stop in El Paso marked a return to his hometown roots during a tour that has drawn audiences across Texas and neighboring states.

Known for his “electric stage presence” and unpredictable delivery, Bailon’s style leans heavily on crowd work. He turns those interactions into unscripted, fast-paced routines.

The El Paso show is one of several stops on Bailon’s current tour. Upcoming appearances include performances on May 9 at the Riot Comedy Club in Houston, a May 2 show in Fort Worth, and a May 21 appearance in Rosemont, Illinois. Bailon is making more stops scheduled into the fall, including a performance in October in Tampa.
