LUBBOCK, Texas — Homecoming spirit and fall festivities collide this weekend as Lubbock lights up with parades, concerts, markets and of course, football. Here are the events for the weekend of October 10 through October 12, 2025.

Friday, October 10:
Texas Tech Homecoming parade and more: Friday is packed with Texas Tech Homecoming events with the parade starting at 6:00 p.m. at Texas Tech’s Broadway entrance. The pep rally will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the main concert stage in Urbanovsky Park, followed by the bonfire and concert. Check out our schedule of events here.
Flatland Cavalry headlines Texas Tech Homecoming Concert: With Raiderland roots, this Texas country chart-topping band is back in Lubbock to headline the 2025 homecoming concert during a free event on campus.
The Great Divide at the Historic Cactus Theater: The Great Divide is making their debut at the Historic Cactus Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Live music at La Diosa: La Diosa brings live music every Friday and Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. They charge a $5 cover to help support the artist directly.
Friday night lights: We are now in Week 7 of high school football across Texas and the South Plains! Here are the matchups to look forward to.
Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble: Join the Texas Tech School of Music Jazz Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble for a free performance at the Hemmle Recital Hall at 6:00 p.m.
Halloween Movie Party: Watch a classic Halloween movie, enjoy snacks and fun activities at the Patterson Branch Library at 1836 Parkway Drive. This event is for tweens, teens and adults from 6:00 p.m. through 8:30 p.m.
AstroNights: The Museum of Texas Tech University and the Lubbock Lake Landmark are kicking off the season with an evening under the stars. You’ll have the chance to look through telescopes and enjoy hands-on demonstrations. This is free and open to the public. Lubbock Lake Landmark is located at 2401 Landmark Lane. The event is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
90’s Trivia Night at Whitewood Lanes: This 21 and over event will have all things 90’s. Whitewood Lanes is located at 3632 50th Street. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Live music and food trucks: English Newsom Cellars will have live music, delicious food and plenty of wine from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., located at 408 East Woodrow Road.
Saturday, October 11:
Texas Tech faces Kansas in Homecoming matchup: It’s a great weekend to be a Red Raider. After making it to the AP top 10 for the first time since 2013, Texas Tech’s homecoming game against the Jayhawks is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Punkin Days in Floydada: Get ready for free, family-friendly fun at the 38th annual Punkin Days in the pumpkin capitol of the United States on Saturday! From jack-o-lanterns to games and vendors, this event has something for everyone. Find more information here.
Reckless Kelly at Prima Vista Events Center: Reckless Kelly’s tour is stopping in Lubbock at the Prima Vista Events Center on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
Wolfforth Farmers Market:Â Fall is in full swing at the Wolfforth Farmers Market at 8924 County Road 7100. Join the community from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for yet another Saturday of local vendors, food and drinks, farm animals and more.
Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market:Â Visit the area of 5th Street and Avenue J from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a taste of downtown Lubbock, including local produce, baked goods and art.
Mo’s Sunset Market: This vibrant event held under string lights in Lubbock’s Depot District is bringing together local vendors, food trucks, live music and fun. The event will be at 1801 Buddy Holly Avenue from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Lubbock Gun Exposition: This show has over 400 tables of merchandise and door prizes all weekend, happening at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday.
Rampage by the Stage: Nightmare on 19th Street is hosting a free wrestling event on the Nightmare Mayhem Midway. If you’re interested in haunted house tickets, you can find more information here.
Screamtober Fest: The Trail of Screams at 1300 Niagara Street is hosting a spooky marketplace full of local vendors, fall treats and more, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, October 12:
Fall Fest at Adelphos Cellars: Join Adelphos Cellars at 11206 Indiana Avenue in the ultimate fall celebration from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Enjoy beautiful winery settings, while you shop, sip and support local.
Symphonic Wind Ensemble: The Texas Tech School of Music’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble will have a free performance at 4:00 p.m. at the Hemmle Recital Hall.
Grand Opening of New Deal Farmers Market: This brand-new market will have fresh and handmade goods from small businesses in the community. The market will be at 2211 FM 1294 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Narnia at Moonlight Musicals: Enjoy this gem with food trucks and family fun while watching this classic story based on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis on October 9 through 11. Find more information here.
