Houston Rockets fans can try three new food items if they have tickets to Friday’s playoff game at Toyota Center.
As the Rockets face the Los Angeles Lakers while trailing 0-2 in the series, the stadium will offer three new specialty sandwiches.
Levy Restaurants, the Rockets’ official food and beverage partner, announced this week that it is adding new items to its stadium menu, including Houston-inspired ribs and hot dogs themed around Houston and Los Angeles.
Fans can now enjoy the Space City Slab, HTX Dawg and LA Street Dawg as part of the new menu.
The Space City Slab, a boneless rib sandwich, features Rocket Fuel BBQ sauce, bread-and-butter pickles, tangy slaw and crispy fried onions on toasted ciabatta. The sandwich also comes with Texas Dirt Kettle Chips.
The HTX Dawg is a beef foot-long hot dog on a toasted bun topped with chopped brisket, crispy onions, a dill pickle and Rocket Fuel BBQ sauce.
The LA Street Dawg is a beef foot-long hot dog on a toasted bun topped with mayo, ketchup, mustard and crispy bacon. The Los Angeles-themed hot dog also includes grilled peppers, onions and fiery chile toreado.
