Dallas does brunch well, according to OpenTable. The online reservation company released a list of the top 100 brunch restaurants in the United States, just in time for Mother’s Day. Four Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants made the list.
All of the Dallas restaurants on OpenTable’s list have a star rating of 4.8 or 4.9 out of 5. Here’s what to know about each one, presented in alphabetical order.
Al Biernat’s on Oak Lawn Avenue in Dallas is a Park Cities staple. It’s been open for nearly 30 years, and Mother’s Day is one of its busiest brunch dates annually, according to the restaurant. Want to take Mom for brioche French toast and coconut cream pie? It’s best to make reservations. Al Biernat’s is at 4217 Oak Lawn Ave., Dallas.
Cafe Pacific in Highland Park Village also made OpenTable’s list. This finer-dining restaurant is beloved for its brunchtime Benedicts and lobster omelet, but here’s our favorite thing about it: You can actually hear your tablemates. Cafe Pacific is not loud like so many Dallas restaurants are. Cafe Pacific is at 24 Highland Park Village, Dallas.
Hudson House in Dallas’ Lakewood area has been a popular brunch option for years. It’s an East Coast-inspired restaurant born here in Dallas. Although OpenTable chose the East Dallas location specifically, Hudson House has restaurants all over Dallas-Fort Worth, from Addison to Fort Worth to Frisco. Hudson House is at 4040 Abrams Road, Dallas.
Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille near Klyde Warren Park is Dallas’ fourth and final brunch spot on OpenTable’s list of 100. The views are beautiful. For Mother’s Day, Perry’s is doing a special pork chop Sunday supper for $49. If Mom would rather eat at home, Perry’s will package up a three-course meal to-go. Perry’s Steakhouse and Grille is at 2100 Olive St., Dallas.
