Texas college style culture is about to feel a little different this weekend—because the $200 sweatshirt that’s become a quiet status symbol on campuses across the state is suddenly going mass market.
A month after its Roller Rabbit collaboration, Target is back with a drop that’s already echoing through private school group chats, sorority house threads and college dorm floors: Target x Parke.
Known for its elevated mock-neck sweatshirts that regularly retail around $130 to $200 and show up everywhere from UT Austin study lounges to Houston private school parking lots, Parke has built a reputation as low-key status wear—polished, minimalist, and just expensive enough to signal you’re in the know.
Now it’s hitting Target shelves across Texas for less than $50.
The nearly 60-piece collection launches Saturday, April 25, on Target.com and in select stores statewide, with most items priced under $40 and some starting at just $5. Alongside the brand’s signature sweatshirts, the drop includes matching sets, denim, striped summer pieces, gingham prints—and, for the first time, swimwear.
The same look that’s been quietly circulating through Texas college campuses is now going big-box retail.
Parke’s original pieces have long lived in that awkward space between “everybody recognizes it” and “not everybody can get it.” On campuses across Texas, the sweatshirt has become a kind of uniform—clean, understated, and instantly recognizable to those who know.
“From day one, Parke has been about community and connection,” said founder Chelsea Parke Goles. “This partnership allows us to meet people where they are… and invite a much broader audience into the Parke world.”
Target executives are framing it as part of a bigger strategy to bring elevated, viral fashion into accessible price points. “Parke has built such a strong following by putting its community at the center of everything it creates,” said Gena Fox, senior vice president of apparel and accessories. “We’re excited to work with them and build on Target’s long legacy of making great style, design and value accessible to all.”
Past Parke drops have vanished quickly online, and anticipation for this release is already building across social media, where shoppers are mapping out store visits like game plans. Everything drops Saturday morning.
But in Texas, the real test won’t be sizing—it’ll be speed.
