SAN ANTONIO – A family has been displaced, and a cat is doing fine after suffering from smoke inhalation due to a bedroom fire on Saturday.
The fire occurred around 11:05 a.m. near Lynette Street and Gault Lane.
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, firefighters arrived to find a fire in the bedroom of the home. The fire was extinguished quickly, and one cat was removed from the home with significant smoke inhalation injuries, but is doing well.
The residents of the home have been displaced.
