“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” the statement to TMZ read. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

Moments before the news broke, the “Savage” rapper offered a glimpse into what may have happened in a now-viral Instagram Story post that quickly caught fans’ attention.

“Cheating… had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,'” the post read in part, before continuing with a pointed message about “mood swings” and questioning whether someone could be “monogamous.”

She ended the post with: “I need a REAL break after this one… bye yall.”

The message didn’t name Thompson directly, but it was enough to send social media into a frenzy—and to add weight to reports that the relationship had ended.

Even then, much of their relationship unfolded in glimpses—photos, appearances and online moments—rather than formal announcements. For now, those fragments point in one direction.

And like much of their relationship, the ending appears to have arrived the same way it began—through a mix of speculation, visibility and just enough confirmation to keep people watching.
