Will any Horned Frogs join him on Day 3 of the draft?

Keep track of where the Horned Frogs’ draft prospects landed, either as a Day 3 draft selection or as an undrafted free agent.

Round 4, No. 126 overall: The Buffalo Bills selected linebacker Kaleb Elarms-Orr in the fourth round.

Elarms-Orr had an elite season for the Horned Frogs in 2025, exploding for a Big 12-leading 130 tackles while landing a team-best 11 tackles for loss and four sacks. His excellent season netted him a First Team All-Big 12 selection.

The California native originally stayed in his home state, spending three years at Cal and developing into a starter for the Golden Bears in 2023 and leading the team in tackles that season (92). He played in all 13 games for the Horned Frogs in 2024 following his transfer, but didn’t get any starts and as a result, saw his production drop substantially.

Aside from his gaudy numbers on the field, Elarms-Orr impressed at the NFL Scouting Combine where he ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and put up a 40-inch vertical jump, both were second-best of all linebackers at the combine behind Ohio State’s Sonny Styles.

Round 6, No. 212 overall: The New England Patriots selected linebacker Namdi Obiazor in the sixth round.

Obiazor put up three consecutive seasons of 80 or more tackles over three years as a starter at TCU. That includes a 2023 season when he led the team in tackles and earned an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.

The Athletic’s draft expert Dane Brugler writes that Obiazor is a “well-rounded player” and projects that he will have a chance to earn a backup or special teams role in the pros.
