The incident happened on Tuesday, Oct. 21, on West Parmer Lane, police said.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Police Department is seeking leads in locating a suspect vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run where a pedestrian was killed. 

The wreck happened around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, on West Parmer Lane along Interstate 35 and Center Lake Drive.

Police said at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of the drivers hit the pedestrian. Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the vehicle is either an SUV or crossover with possible damage to the lower front left side and blood on the left front tire. 

The vehicle was reportedly last seen heading eastbound in the 800 block of West Parmer Lane.
