A&M’s Boston Kellner led off with a shot to third base that bounced off Ethan Surowiec. The third baseman recovered, but his throw across the diamond to first went wide and Kellner ended up at second base on the error. Gavin Grahovac jumped on Russell Sandefer’s first pitch for a hit back up the middle, and Kellner slid safely into home for the first run.

Chris Hacopian, who had a hit in the first inning, later scored Grahovac on a sacrifice fly.

End 2: Aggies get out of trouble

Weston Moss cruised in the first inning, but had to get out of some trouble in the second. Florida placed baserunners on first and third base with two outs after Moss hit a batter and gave up a hit, but the Aggies got out of the inning unscathed. It remains a 0-0 game in Gainesville.
