Visitation: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Christian Community of Faith International, 2404 Sunnyvale Rd., Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050. Funeral: 12:00 pm on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Christian Community of Faith International. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Born March 24, 1961, in Villahumada, Chihuahua, Mexico to Antonio and Emma Contreras, Josefina was a woman of unshakable faith and unbreakable strength. Her courage carried her through every storm, and her fearless heart inspired everyone who knew her. A devoted mother, she loved her children deeply and selflessly. She walked through life with grace, trusting in God, and leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and enduring strength that will continue to live on in her family. Josefina was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Emma Contreras. She is survived by her husband, Ismael Gomez; son, Erick Fernández; and daughters, Lorena Fernández, Grace Barragan and Abilene Fernández. Josefina will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
