AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are searching for two men who allegedly broke into a charity’s property and stole a food trailer valued at approximately $22,000.

The theft occurred Oct. 9 at 2:40 p.m. at Century Charities, located at 8006 Bluff Springs Road, according to the Austin Police Department.

Police said the two suspects broke into the property, entered two storage containers and stole a generator in addition to the enclosed food trailer. The ministry uses the trailer to sell food and raise money for its programs, APD said.

Investigators described the suspects as Hispanic men driving a Chevrolet Tahoe.

A reward of up to $1,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
