Plano City Hall could vote on the city’s budget for the fiscal year that starts Friday.
The item is on the agenda for Monday’s meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. A Committee of the Whole session will follow the regular meeting. The meeting will be held at Plano City Hall, 17 E. Main Street.
The city expects about $10 million in general fund revenue but is planning about $11 million in spending, with the difference to be covered by reserves. Increased employee wages and equipment purchases are cited as the reasons.
The mayor will also make a proclamation for Motorcycle Awareness Month, and the council will vote to pay about $210,000 in bills.
During the Committee of the Whole session, the council will consider a liquor license for the Exquisite Skillet Pancake House.
