According to the latest NHTSA report, Tesla’s (TSLA) autonomous Robotaxis keep crashing in Austin, Texas, despite so-called “safety monitors” designed to prevent an unknown number of collisions, Electrek’s Fred Lambert reports. Since the launch of its Robotaxis in Austin, where the car maker has moved the supervisor from the driver’s seat to the passenger seat, the company has now reported its first few crashes under mandated ADS reporting, the author notes.
