UTA’s weeklong Homecoming celebration is just down the yellow brick road. The celebration will begin Nov. 9 and end Nov. 15, featuring events such as sports games, a concert, a parade and a chili cook-off.

Gianni Milos, UTA Ambassadors program coordinator, said Homecoming is a time for students and alumni to have fun and be one as a community. This year’s tagline, “There’s No Place Like Homecoming,” is based around the world of “The Wizard of Oz” theme.

Milos said Homecoming will be a good way to take stress away during midterms and exams.

“I feel like if you never have time, this is the perfect time to come out and see what your school has to offer,” Milos said.
