It hasn’t even been a week since the 2026 NFL Draft ended, but surely there are some of you who have your sights set on 2027. Arch Manning is going to create some conversations.
Time will tell what the Dallas Cowboys are looking for in that draft, but one thing is for certain and that is that they will be doing so with the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Super Bowl MVP all in one player on their team in Caleb Downs? Hey, we are all dreaming.

Seriously though, it is never too early to understand what lies ahead. Today we are just making sure we know what our cards say.
2027 Dallas Cowboys Draft Picks
The great Todd Archer clarified exactly what these cards are on Monday in establishing what draft picks the Cowboys will have at their disposal in 2027. They have already spent a few of them.
It should be noted, as Archer did, that the Cowboys will not receive any compensatory picks next year. Those wound up valuable this draft as the Cowboys flipped their two comp picks (both were in the fifth round) to the Miami Dolphins in the trade up during the first round that led to the drafting of Downs.
