LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The City of Lubbock will perform emergency utility work at 34th Street from Milwaukee Avenue to Upland Avenue beginning Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The closure will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
The work will close the westbound lane of 34th Street from Upland Avenue to Milwaukee Avenue. One-way eastbound traffic will remain open for travel.
Citizens are encouraged to drive with caution and avoid the area if possible.
