AUSTIN – Registration is now open for the Texas Historical Commission’s 10th annual Real Places 2026 conference.
The event, hosted by the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission and Texas Historical Commission, is the official statewide conference for historic preservation and heritage tourism. This year’s conference will take place April 8–10 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.
The event brings together people passionate about finding, saving and leveraging historic places throughout Texas communities.
Early-bird registration is available through Dec. 5, along with discounts for select attendees, including courthouse stewards and students.
Single-day registration, virtual attendance options, and a limited number of scholarships and hotel stipends for qualified applicants are also available.
