The Dallas Mavericks look to get back in the win column against Indiana.
DALLAS — Watch the Dallas Mavericks vs. Indiana Pacers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 on KFAA. Here’s a breakdown on how to tune in – and guarantee you get the clearest signal possible of the broadcast.
The Dallas Mavericks (1-3) continue their homestand Wednesday night against last year’s Finals runner-ups, the Indiana Pacers (0-3).
The Mavs are aiming to get back in the win column after a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, and the Pacers are gunning for their first win of the season.
The Pacers’ slow start can be attributed to two things: injuries and a noticeable decline at the center position. Tyrese Haliburton, who helped lead the Pacers to the Finals last season, is out for the entire season after tearing his Achilles. In the offseason, longtime Pacers center and two-time NBA blocks leader Myles Turner signed a four-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, pairing his talents with the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The Pacers seem to be an easy target for the Mavericks. In each of their three losses so far, Indiana has fallen by double-digits. But Dallas can’t get complacent.
Simply put, more Mavericks need to contribute on offense. In their loss to the Thunder, only four players scored in double-figures. Even more glaring on the stat sheet: Cooper Flagg only scored two points on 1-9 shooting.
