On April 25, TMZ confirmed via a rep that Megan Thee Stallion and Thompson broke up, ending a relationship that had been very public on social media over the past year. The cause of the breakup was alleged infidelity levied at Thompson, according to Megan’s Instagram post announcing the split. 

In a video captured from a recent Instagram Live, Slim Thug was asked about the news of Megan Thee Stallion and Thompson, and while he didn’t lust after Megan (as he has previously), it is still nearly three minutes of weird anecdotes about not getting married and why he would never date Megan or someone of her stature. 

After telling his viewers he hates to see that, and that he was never rooting for the breakup, he stated this is why he refuses to enter into a serious relationship.

“Sugar babies, and acts of service are my love language, and it’s been working,” the 45-year-old Slim Thug said on video. 

The video is lowkey very introspective, with the “I’m A Boss” rapper admitting he could never put himself in situations where he knows he could not act accordingly, like being in a monogamous committed relationship. 

“I know who I am, I’m 45 at this point, and I don’t even trust myself in a lot of situations. The situations I don’t trust myself in, I don’t sign up for,” the Houston rapper said.  

Fans took the video and the tweet broadcasting it as just another unnecessary mention of Megan Thee Stallion’s name.

“We knew he was coming. Still mad she ain’t never gave him the time or day,” one commenter said.

“Well, that’s crazy cause she never wanted him in the first place,” another Megan defender levied towards Slim Thug.

“Mind you she has PUBLICLY turned this man down,” another fan brought up.

The exhaustion from fans comes from Slim Thug’s continuing to mention Megan Thee

In July of last year, Slim Thug also made weird comments when Megan and Thompson initially made their relationship public, commenting on a gift Megan got for her then-new boyfriend. Slim Thug later clarified that he had “nothing but love” for the new couple. 

One would hope this would be the last time Slim Thug is dragged through the mud on social media because of a weird thing he has for Megan. Unfortunately, that is likely wishful thinking.
