LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock Apartment Association presented a check for $15,200 to Lubbock Impact on Wednesday, money raised from their State of the City event.
LAA describes the event as “a chance for our industry to come together, hear directly from city leadership, and stay connected to what’s shaping Lubbock’s future.”
This year’s proceeds were donated to Lubbock Impact, “a local nonprofit serving our community since 2007. Their work focuses on helping the working poor by providing food, clothing, medical care, and programs that meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs—offering real support and a path toward stability.”
Lubbock Impact thanked the Lubbock Apartment Association and Mayor Mark McBrayer:
“Thank you to the Lubbock Apartment Association for your incredible generosity, initiative and support for your local community. You help us move forward and care for our neighbors! Mayor McBrayer, thank you for your continuous investment in and heart for Lubbock Impact’s ministry. Your personal connection and deep-rooted care for this ministry have been an incredible support. Thank you for being such a great advocate and cheerleader!”
