The Lighthouse Seafood spent 10 years serving up affordable fried fish on San Antonio’s Fredericksburg Road before ending its decade-long run on April 7. Just a few weeks later, the business is showing signs of life in a new home not too far from its roots.

The son of owner Ramona Guerrero, Hector Marroquin, reached out to MySA on Tuesday, April 28, to share that The Lighthouse Seafood is indeed returning to Fredericksburg Road, but this time, the restaurant will be in a new location. The eatery also posted about the move on Facebook.

“We are now going to open a new location at 3534 Fredericksburg Road,” Marroquin told MySA. “We don’t know the date of opening as we just signed the lease.”

Marroquin went on to say that he and his family, who own the restaurant together, just signed the lease for the new spot. The Lighthouse Seafood proceeded to share an update on its Facebook account to let customers know that it will be reopening in the future.

“Same great food same family making it. From our family to yours we can’t wait to see you once again,” the post said.

Based on the address, it appears that The Lighthouse will be going up in the former home of Sr. Ceviche. MySA will keep an eye on the business as it makes progress.

Find it: 3534 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, TX 78201
