Moore, who last played at Florida, had an impressive 2025 campaign before entering the NFL draft. In his last collegiate season, Moore posted 35 total tackles, three pass deflections, two interceptions, two tackles for loss and a sack.

1. The basics
Height: 6-3 Weight: 198 pounds
Hometown: Naples, Florida
2. He’s confident in his ability
The cornerback is pretty confident in his ability to stand out at the next level. Shortly after he was drafted, Moore told Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones that Dallas had gotten “the best corner in the draft.”
Jones seemed pleased with that statement, as did head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

3. He isn’t the only athlete in his family
Moore comes from an athletic family. The cornerback’s parents were both collegiate athletes at Illinois State, according to The Athletic’s Dane Brugler. Moore’s older brother, Dante, previously played college basketball at Maryville College in Tennessee.
Before Moore solely focused on football, he tried his hand at multiple sports as a child. He also played basketball in the past.
4. He has an injury history
Moore endured some health struggles throughout his four-year stint at Florida. He missed a total of 20 games at the school. His most healthy season came in 2025, when he only missed one game.
In 2022, Moore missed eight games due to a left shoulder injury. In 2023, he missed five games with back injury and concussion. In 2024, he missed six games due to an AC joint injury in his right shoulder.
The Cowboys are hoping he can stay healthy in the NFL.
5. He was a four-star high school recruit
He committed to Notre Dame in July of 2021, before decommitting from the school four months later. Moore committed to Florida a month later, then promptly signed with the school.
