Cottonwood Art Festival

The semiannual Cottonwood Art Festival returns with more than 240 artists showcasing museum-quality work across 14 categories, including painting, ceramics, photography, glass and jewelry. The weekend festival also features live music performances, local food and a lively outdoor atmosphere in Cottonwood Park.

14th Annual Frisco StrEATS Gourmet Food Truck & Music Festival

Texas’ longest-running food truck festival returns to Frisco with gourmet eats from top DFW food trucks, live music, local shopping and craft beer, wine and whiskey tastings. The annual event takes over the corner of Main Street and Frisco Street for a full day of food and entertainment.
Cinco de Mayo Celebration with Havana NRG

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a high-energy performance from Havana NRG, one of the metroplex’s top Latin bands. The longtime fan favorites bring salsa, Latin rhythms and nonstop dancing to Legacy Hall for a festive night of live music, drinks and celebration.
Plano AsiaFest 2026

The 22nd annual AsiaFest returns to downtown Plano with a day celebrating the cultures and traditions of Asia through food, music, dance and live demonstrations. Guests can experience traditional performances, language exhibits, cultural fashion shows and interactive presentations highlighting Asian medicine, music and heritage from across the continent.
Folklorico Festival of McKinney
May 3 & 10 | Dr. Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park, McKinney
This free two-day festival celebrates Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day with live folklórico performances, Latin American music and family-friendly activities in historic downtown McKinney. Hosted by Ollimpaxqui Ballet Company, the annual event features international dance ensembles from Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico, along with salsa, cumbia and Afro-Peruvian dance workshops, arts and crafts, and cultural programming for all ages.

Texas country artist Zac Wilkerson brings his Red Dirt sound to Love & War in Texas for an evening of live music, Texas food and local flavor. As North Texas prepares for the global spotlight of the FIFA World Cup, the Perot is kicking off the excitement with Soccer: More Than a Game. Scarborough Renaissance Festival
