Despite news that the Port Lavaca Buc-ee’s is being converted into a 7-Eleven, expansion is the name of the game for the Texas-sized gas station chain. So far, Buc-ee’s has already opened its first stores in Huber Heights, Ohio, and Goodyear, Arizona, plus the San Marcos Buc-ee’s is expected to open later this summer. In the next few years, expect even more stores from the beaver-branded travel center.

Reports indicate Buc-ee’s plans to open 14 stores between 2027 and 2031, with eight of those opening in 2027 alone.

While a specific timeline has not been revealed, the Boerne Buc-ee’s is expected to finally open next year, 11 years after it was first announced for the popular Texas Hill Country town.

Arkansas’ first Buc-ee’s is in development at the intersection of Interstate 30 and Highway 229 in Benton. It’s expected to open sometime between August 2026 and early 2027, according to reports.

Ruston, Louisiana, is set to open the state’s first Buc-ee’s in April 2027. It will be located at the intersection of I-20 and Tarbutton Road.

Chiefs Kingdom will welcome Buc-ee’s in October 2027 when Kansas City’s first location opens at 601 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66111. 

Tennessee is set to add two new Buc-ee’s in 2027, located at the intersection of I-24 and Joe B. Jackson Parkway in Murfreesboro and in Gallaway along I-40. The Gallaway Buc-ee’s is expected to open in August 2027, while Murfreesboro could open in December 2026 or early 2027.

Lastly, the Buc-ee’s in St. Lucie, Florida, is expected to open in late 2027 at the southeast corner of I-95 and Indrio Road.

Elsewhere, Buc-ee’s is reportedly planning to open locations in Monroe County, Georgia, Lafayette, Louisiana, Mebane, North Carolina, Ocala, Florida and West Memphis, Arkansas in 2028, as well as a store in Hardeeville, South Carolina in 2031.
