EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Country music fans in El Paso will have a major name to look forward to this fall.

Multi-platinum artist Cole Swindell is set to headline the 10th Annual Way Out West Country Music Festival on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, in downtown El Paso, according to an announcement on Friday.

Swindell has built a career as a songwriter, recording artist and live performer over the past 12 years.

Twelve of his 13 No. 1 singles have earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, including three 3X Platinum hits — “Chillin’ It,” “You Should Be Here,” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” — and two 2X Platinum singles, “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Break Up In The End.” Rolling Stone has called Swindell “a proven hit-maker.”

The 2026 festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary with performances on two stages — the Bud Light Main Stage and the Lucchese Rising Star Stage — and additional artist announcements expected throughout the summer.

This 10-year milestone is incredibly meaningful for all of us,” said Festival Producer Gina Roe-Davis, owner of Rave Marketing & Events. “What started as a vision to create a signature country music festival for our community has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated annual celebrations. We’re proud to be a locally owned and locally produced festival, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate ten years of music, memories, and community with our fans this September!

Pre-sale tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026, for subscribers. Public on-sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026.

Tickets will be sold through epwayoutwest.com, ticketmaster.com, and the Plaza Theatre Box Office. Military discounts will be available starting May 8 exclusively through GovX.

Along with live music, the Way Out West Country Music Festival is expected to include a margarita contest, chili challenge, cornhole tournament, craft and retail vendors, and border-style cuisine in downtown El Paso.
