EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Multi-platinum country music star Cole Swindell is scheduled to headline the 10th annual Way Out West Country Music Festival in El Paso.

The festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 26 at the El Paso Convention Center and surrounding streets in Downtown El Paso.

Swindell, who Rolling Stone has called “a proven hit-maker,” has established himself as one of country music’s most successful songwriters, recording artists, and live performers over the past 12 years.

Twelve of his 13 No. 1 singles have earned Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America, including three 3X Platinum hits — “Chillin’ It,” “You Should Be Here,” and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” — and two 2X Platinum singles, “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey” and “Break Up In The End.”

Celebrating its 10th year, the 2026 WOW Fest will feature performances on two stages with additional artist announcements coming this summer.

“This 10-year milestone is incredibly meaningful for all of us,” said festival producer Gina Roe-Davis, owner of Rave Marketing and Events. “What started as a vision to create a signature country music festival for our community has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated annual celebrations. We’re proud to be a locally owned and locally produced festival, and we’re beyond excited to celebrate ten years of music, memories, and community with our fans this September.”

In addition to live music, WOW Fest offers a full day of festival attractions including a margarita contest, chili challenge, cornhole tournament, craft and retail vendors, and food.

Pre-sale tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 for subscribers. The public on-sale launch will be at 10 a.m. on May 8. Tickets can be purchased at epwayoutwest.com, ticketmaster.com and the Plaza Theatre Box Office.
