The stage is set, and the full schedule of the Western Conference Semifinals matchup between the No. 2 seeded San Antonio Spurs vs. the No. 6 seeded Minnesota Timberwolves is finally official.

After the Spurs’ gentleman sweep in the first round of the playoffs over the Portland Trail Blazers 4-1, they patiently waited for Minnesota to close out their series over the Denver Nuggets 4-2, respecitively. Now, the second round of the NBA Playoffs has its Western Conference Semifinals series set.

The Spurs played the Timberwolves three times this season, with Minnesota winning the in-season series 2-1. Two of the contests in January were decided by three points of less, with the Spurs win being 123-126 and the Wolves win being 104-103, respectively. They will revisit a battle between now reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama and 4-time DPOY Rudy Gobert. The Timberwolves are down guard Donte DiVincenzo after he suffered a season-ending ruptured Achilles in game four of the first series.

At time of publication there is no word if leading scorer for the Timberwolves Anthony Edwards will suit up for the second round series versus the Spurs. However, Edwards teased he could be cleared at some point in a video he posted on YouTube.
