TxDOT to shut down northbound lanes and ramps over three nights starting May 6.
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Night closures are planned on northbound SH 286 as crews work to replace overhead signs starting Wednesday, May 6.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the work will take place over three nights between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
TxDOT said it will require full closures of northbound lanes and some entrance ramps between Saratoga Boulevard and South Padre Island Drive. Southbound lanes will remain open.
On Wednesday, all northbound lanes will close from Saratoga to just past the Saratoga bridge, with traffic forced to exit at Saratoga.
On Thursday, closures will stretch from Holly Road to SH 358, with traffic exiting at Holly.
On Sunday, some entrance ramps and flyovers near Holly will close, but the main lanes will remain open.
