RICHARDSON, Texas — A wireless provider, ANDREW, is relocating and expanding in the city of Richardson, the city announced.
ANDREW is a global provider of wireless network infrastructure solutions, employing more than 4,000 people worldwide.
It is moving from its current spot at 2601 Telecom Parkway to a nearby facility at 2920 Telecom Parkway. The new facility will be about 42,000 square feet and include an office, engineering and lab space.
“ANDREW has long been a valued employer in Richardson, and we are pleased the company has chosen to further invest in its headquarters here,” Richardson City Manager Don Magner said in a press release. “This relocation underscores confidence in Richardson’s business climate and aligns with our strategic focus on attracting and retaining innovative companies that provide high-quality jobs and sustained economic investment.”
The city also approved a $150,000 business retention grant to support the company’s move.
