Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time when educators and school staff are shown the love that they deserve all year round. This year, Teacher Appreciation Week runs from Monday, May 4, to Friday, May 8, and several restaurants and businesses in San Antonio are offering promotions, discounts and freebies in honor of the occasion.

From 5 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, Whataburger restaurants will offer a free breakfast item to teachers with a valid school ID. Options include the breakfast on a bun, the honey butter chicken biscuit and the breakfast taquito. The free breakfast offer is good for dine-in, takeout and drive-thru orders.
