FORT WORTH – Raymond Edgar Brewton, 88, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on May 3, 2026. Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite B, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Bethel Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas. Raymond was born on November 6, 1937, in Mineral Wells, Texas. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Education from TCU. He was married to Elouise Maurice (Peoples) Brewton. Raymond was a passionate educator. He worked as an administrator/teacher for Palo Pinto County, Texas Education Agency (TEA), Crowley ISD, Blue Bird, and Azle ISD. He had a passion for education and helping kids learn and grow. Raymond was survived by his son, Kevin Brewton; and grandchildren, Dakota Brewton, Parker Brewton, Creede Brewton, Landon Brewton, and Kennedy Brewton.
