SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — A neighborhood in Sunland Park was without water Tuesday morning because the utility company serving the area said it needed to perform emergency repairs to a water line.
According to the Camino Real Regional Utility Authority, repairs were made to a water main in the Anapra area, which interrupted service to the area and the surrounding areas.
However, by 11:45 a.m. CRRUA said water was restored.

CRRUA advised people that once water comes back, it may be discolored due to minerals in the system, but said that it should go away in 24 hours, and if it doesn’t, people are encouraged to run the cold water for several minutes.
CRRUA recommends people wait for the water to clear before washing laundry.
