RUIDOSO, New Mexico (KCBD) – The Village of Ruidoso said a Lubbock man was arrested in Tennessee earlier this month in connection with a child sexual assault investigation in New Mexico.
According to a release from the Village of Ruidoso, an extensive investigation was conducted by detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division after a call for a lost child turned into a sexual assault case.
After collecting evidence at the scene, Kory Jolly was positively identified by detectives as the suspect involved in the case. Police in Ruidoso asked the US Marshal Service for assistance in arresting Jolly in Lubbock, which is where he lived.
However, detectives learned he left Lubbock for Tennessee where he was taken into custody on May 1.
Ruidoso police said the US Marshal Service, Lubbock Police Department, Tennessee State Police, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and the White Mountain Drug Task Force all helped in making the arrest possible.
