After an overcast and wet Wednesday, sunshine returns Thursday to North Texas along with some clouds. 

The day will begin with partly sunny conditions and temperatures that will top out near 75 degrees before dropping to 58 degrees overnight, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. A light breeze of 5 mph is expected during the day. 

Starting Friday, 80-degree days are forecast to return to Dallas-Fort Worth. The region will see a streak of hot days through the middle of next week, according to the weather service. 

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms over the weekend for North Texas. but the days are also expected to be sunny.
